25+ 90s Kid Nostalgia Memes To Take You Back (August 9, 2025)

The 90s were all about pizzaz. In fact, I'm sure the word pizzaz existed before the 90s, but it was perfected in the 90s. Remember all the outrageously colorful windbreakers we used to wear? How much wind were we expecting to blow our way? Remember the huge jeans we would wear? Why did we need all of that fabric? Didn't it sort of just weigh us down? Remember drinking out of paper cups with the "Jazz" design? Why did we need our paper cups to be so funky? I kind of wish they still were. Things seemed more colorful back then, or maybe that was just childhood. 

But looking back on one's youth can be a good exercise. It can show us how far we've come and how much we've learned. We don't need a collection of Beanie Babies to define our self-worth. We do that with Labubus now.

  • It's vital that we gaze back at a bygone era every now and then so we can keep ourselves humble. These memes and pictures will do just that. They're here to remind us that yes, we were always cool. But no, cool didn't always mean that particular thing. And that is more than okay with us.
